Typography and color for professional credibility

Visual hierarchy signals competence before anyone reads your first sentence.

Limit display fonts to headlines; body text should stay highly legible at small sizes. Line length near 60–75 characters improves comprehension on desktops.

Color should reinforce brand, not compete with it. Neutral backgrounds with one accent color for links and primary buttons usually age better than rainbow sections.

If you serve regulated industries, avoid playful palettes that undermine seriousness unless the brand genuinely calls for it.
