Computer Hardware Fixes

Why PCs feel slow—and what actually helps

Slowness is symptom, not diagnosis: storage, thermal throttling, RAM pressure, or background apps each present differently.

Task Manager or equivalent shows disk pegged at 100% during logon—often aging hard drives. Thermal issues spike fans and throttle CPUs under sustained load.

RAM upgrades help when memory is constantly near capacity; they do little when storage is the bottleneck.

Malware scans and startup bloat removal help after verifying hardware health.
